The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann

The following article is merely my opinion, anything stated within is based on what information is avaliable to the public domain. Overall it is merely my opinion, i.e. "conspiracy theory" and is no way precedent fact. Thanks... my disclaimer folks!

Well case closed folks, the search for Madeleine officially ended. I am so surprise given the extreme reaction and the many millions paid in by the government and the public has not resulted in a single valid lead.

I first of all want to express my disgust of the vilification of Robert Murat. He is a British international living in Portugal that offered his assistance to the case (speaking both Portugese and English). This was flagged by one pro-McCann journalist as being "too interested" in the case and "weird". This man will forever have the stigma of "abductor" due to scape-goating by the media.

There is so little detail avaliable to us on the case that it is impossible to make a firm decision on what actually happened. What we do know is that Sniffer dogs (that have been proven in the past to be 99.5% accurate regardless of Gerry McCanns claiming blood from some meat leaked out) Detected the smell of a corpse in the Renault that they were renting. These dogs have had many years training, possibly thousands of pounds spent on their training. I think they would know the difference between beef and human. In the past, the same dogs solved countless crimes and mysteries.

Another undeniable detail is the couple's extremely confused emotions in interviews. One minute they show anger at people who have accused them of involvement, the next they appear the warm-hearted tearful parents. It was said on Panorama that Kate McCann was told "not to show emotion" so that an abductor would not get a sick kick from it. Well I don't know any parents that could cope with instruction like that so soon after their child has gone missing. The next time Kate reacted to the criticism and gave a teary-eyed interview in the "One Year On" documentary on Channel 4. Body language experts believed Gerry's touch of the ear when asked if he gave Madeleine Calpol indicated that he had done just that. (Note : there is a "night" version of calpol which contains an over-the counter sedative).

Another obvious factor is that they are both doctors, one a surgeon. My opinion dictates that they may be pretty accustomed to distancing their emotions during a surgery (particularly if the patient died). They would also have pretty good knowledge of forensics and body disposal (possibly). I am not saying they are murderers, but my honest opinion is that they may have covered up an accident. I believe it may have been an overdose on a sedative (or Madeleine had an accident whilst on the sedatives e.g. fell down some steps). I have been to Portugal myself and I remember the country being extremely sleepy and sparsly populated, I cannot envisage that within a couple of days that an abductor started watching them and came up with such a plot.

Sniffer dogs also point to an area behind the sofa and the wardrobe as being in contact with a corpse. Gerry apparently was outside at some point talking to someone. Did Madeleine fall from the sofa head first when outreaching to the window to see him? Did he then put the body in the wardrobe whilst deciding what to do with it? A British family (not Jane Tanner hint hint)said on the night Madeleine went missing they saw a man holding a small child outstretched and walking towards the beach. The family said after seeing the news coverage that it was indeed Gerry. - If this was a corpse is could be an explanation for why he held the body away from him and not close to him. It has been suggested that the unmanned animal incinerators around Portugal could have been used in the body's disposal.

During police questioning she aparently refused to answer nearly all of the questions (around 40??) why would she impede the investigation to find her daughter? Why didn't she want to have a better chance of finding her?

I just believe it is ridiculous the amount of support that has been generated in their favour when we know very little.

Check out Goncalo Amaral's documentary below (the supposed "eeevil" police chief that lost his job for "unprofessionalism", hmm). He raises very valid technical points about the disappearance.
Apparently deleted phone records? varing accounts of what happened? hmmm!

Here's part 1, check youtube for parts 2-6:

Note: All above is my opinion. I do not state anything as fact..."allegedly";)

  2. Gerry McCann is not a surgeon, he is a consultant.

Apologies is this seems like nit picking, it is not.

  3. I appreciate your enthusiasm Sharon, but I highly doubt something that far fetched has happened. Bare in mind millions of pounds of public money has been spent, if she was in such a building she would have been found by now. Every corner of land has been searched, even under sea. And point taken aboard Rhodes... I am not very knowledgeable of medical terminology.
